The challenge

The estate had its own logic, its own vocabulary, its own unwritten rules. The challenge was to build an identity that respected all of that. That imposed nothing from outside. That was born from within, like a house that has taken shape on its own over the years.

The process

We started with the architecture. The spaces had their own names — the jar room, the oven room, the lime corridor. That nomenclature became the signage system. The graphic identity avoids any element that recalls the hotel industry: no stars, no categories, no promises that cannot be kept.

The outcome

An identity that works like a family home: with its own rules, its own vocabulary, its own way of welcoming. The signage is carved in local stone. The island guide is written as a personal letter, not a tourist guide. Serè is not a hotel. It is a place you return to.
